Alex talks about the next piece. Each introduction, prepared independently by a different member of the group, was both personal and informative, containing wonderful surprises.



The band—Evellyne Luest, keyboard (partial view; behind music stand!); Holly Mentzer, flute; Luellen Abdoo, violin (unfortunately not visible); and Virginia Kaycoff, viol—accompanies the Camerata in the trio from the Coffee Cantata. Composer Aaron Jay Kernis gets ready to turn the page for his wife Evelyne.
