The multigenerational Stabat Mater chorus included the Bronx-based Casita Sings children's chorus and women and children of the Church of St Francis Xavier Family Faith Choir, as well as women of the NYFS chorus.
 

Conductor Nick Dosman sent the following message to Alec Spencer on April 2, 2012:

Thank you so much for including the New York Festival Singers in the  
Pergolesi.  I have received glowing reports about the Pergolesi 
performance. Please thank all the singers for their participation. I 
was especially glad to see that Karen could participate in this 
performance. I hope the singers that had participated felt as 
gratified as I did and hope you enjoyed the concert. It was wonderful 
seeing so many generations and backgrounds on stage. I know you are 
probably swamped but please pass this along to the New York Festival 
Singers.
